Hospital Manager

Tim Burns

Hospital manager Tim Burns joined the Roaring Brook Animal Hospital staff in 2002. He has worked in the animal care field for more than 20 years and previously worked at St. Mark’s Veterinary Hospital and Animal General Veterinary Hospital in New York City. He likes interacting with clients and pets and enjoys helping keep pets healthy. Outside the hospital, Tim works part–time as a spinning instructor at a local gym. He also enjoys gardening and cooking. He and his wife, Bonnie, and their daughter, Kendall, share their home with three dogs, Misa, a Pug, Maxwell, a French Bulldog, and Smokey, a rescued five-year old boxer. They also have a ten-year-old African Grey parrot named Kuka, and a rat named Pinkie.

Lisa Brophy

Office manager  Lisa Brophy joined the Roaring Brook Animal Hospital staff in 2005. She is glad to be part of the hospital’s friendly staff and enjoys working with the pets. She shares her home with a dog named Sasha and three cats, Rio, Ty and Taj. Outside of the hospital, Lisa enjoys playing tennis, hiking and watching baseball and football games. She also likes cooking, going to the movies and spending time with friends and family.

Ann Johnson

Veterinary nursing manager Ann Johnson has been with Roaring Brook since October of 2011, but has been working with animals for the past six years. Her daily responsibilities include the care of hospitalized and boarding patients, surgical preparation and client education.

"The hospital treats their staff, clients and patients like family," said Ann. "This is a very caring and nurturing place." She said her passion is in helping our clients and our patients.

When not in the office, Ann spends time with her husband Alex, their son Miles and their dogs, which include Bruce, a Jack Russell; Dizzy, a Jack Russell mix; and Gordon, a Rat Terrier.
