Katherine Roemer

Licensed veterinary technician Katherine Roemer has been taking care of pets at Roaring Brook Animal Hospital since 2007. Katherine has many years experience in the animal care field and has an Associate’s Degree in Animal Science from Camden County College. She has also worked on dairy farms and attended Alfred State College for an Animal Husbandry program. Katherine likes working with the clients and their pets along with the friendly staff at the hospital. Interested in laboratory analysis and diagnostics, she particularly enjoys working in the hospital's diagnostic laboratory. Outside of work, Katherine's hobbies include painting, making porcelain dolls and reading mystery and sci–fi novels. She shares her home with Spot, a chocolate Lab.

April Van Horn

Licensed veterinary technician April Van Horn has been caring for pets at Roaring Brook Animal Hospital since 2008. April has grown up around horses, dogs, cats and farm animals and has worked everywhere from animal shelters and pet stores to a bakery for dogs and a hobby farm. She loves working with animals and enjoys being part of a team whose common goal is a better quality of life for all pets. In her free time, April enjoys gardening, sewing, hiking, camping and cooking. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her pets. April shares her home with three cats, Ogden, Nash and Zoe, a tarantula, a bearded dragon and a love bird.

Melissa Carle

Melissa Carle has been helping pets as a daycare and kennel attendant at Roaring Brook since August 2007. Melissa enjoys working with the animals and cherishes every opportunity to learn new things. Melissa is in training to become a veterinary assistant at Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital. Outside the hospital, she has a number of hobbies, including snorkeling, scuba diving, scrap booking, swimming and running. Her four-legged family members include five dogs, Natasha, Mocha, Lilly, Lexi and Lucy.
