Sharon Potanka, DVM

Dr. Sharon Potanka grew up in Avon, CT. She graduated from Quinnipiac University with a BS in veterinary technology in 2010 then attended Iowa State University for veterinary school, graduating in 2014. After graduation, Dr. Potanka worked as a veterinarian in upstate New York then in the northwest corner of Connecticut. She joined the team at Roaring Brook in December 2022.

In her spare time, Dr. Potanka enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, running, and kayaking. She is also an avid gardener and enjoys spending time with her two terrier mixes Jack and Louie, and with friends and family.
